Imagine, if you will, waking up to the chimes of the 11th century church located behind the house.  You open the windows and smell the fresh bread baking in the patisserie around the corner.  You walk over and buy your morning croissants and sit on the balcony eating and enjoying your morning coffee overlooking the town square where the schoolchildren are waiting for the bus.  Or, you take your morning breakfast on the rooftop terrace.  The centuries-old Plane trees shelter your table.

After breakfast you may go for a walk in the beautiful vineyards surrounding the town.  In the spring there are wildflowers and poppies.  In the fall, you can pick fresh figs off the trees along the path.  Or you can sample the delicious wine grapes ready for harvest.

If you want, you can walk to the boucherie and order a roasted chicken which you can pick up at dinner.  Then it is off to the marche, one of many held at various towns.  They offer fresh vegetables, fruit, jams, cheeses, fish or meat.  You may also pick up some bargains at the different vendor’s stalls.  You can drive to the nearby town and shop at the large supermarche (supermarket).

Then it is off to see the many historic sites nearby.  Or, you may decide to drive a short distance to the Canal du Midi for a walk or bike ride.

Back home you can relax on the rooftop or take a short nap before going out to the many excellent restaurants nearby.

Sound good?  That is life in your French vacation home.

This site (francetownhouse.com) offers details on the fractional ownership of a townhouse (village house) in France; fractional ownership is a great way to own a portion of a house or townhouse property in Europe, maintain a vacation home, and save money on hotel and timeshare costs. This town house is in the historic Languedoc area of southern France, in the town of Cruzy - not far from Spain, Italy and Portugal. Fractional ownership is a cost-saving alternative to purchasing a home for sole ownership, and eliminates hotel, timeshare, hostel or other lodging costs. This home is historic, clean, for sale, and available now. Please contact us for more information.
